Professional Development Points (PDPs)

Project Adventure is an approved High-Quality Professional Development (HQPD) provider through Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

As a registered provider, Project Adventure offers participants Professional Development Points (PDPs) for selected Project Adventure workshops. PDPs are awarded after participating in a workshop and writing a reflection which demonstrates mastery in all content areas of the rubric.

Submission of the Written Reflection must be submitted within 30 days after the workshop takes place.

Written Reflection assessment will be Pass/Fail.

The current written reflection administration fee:  $15 per workshop

Quantity

Once registration and payment are complete, work can be submitted for grading by following these instructions. Rubric for the paper will be emailed.

  1. Email your work to Prudy Pilkanis (ppilkanis@pa.org) with your last name as the first word in the file name (not the email subject).
  2. Include a scan or photo of your Record of Attendance you received from Project Adventure at the workshop.
  3. Your email subject line should include PDP Credit and Name of Workshop
  4. Write a 1 – 2 page reflection focusing on the core ideas and learning from the workshop.
    • Identify the core ideas and learnings listed below.
    • Explain how you will utilize this knowledge to strengthen your teaching practice AND increase student learning.
