Join us for a training designed specifically for summer camp Adventure staff! Whether your Adventure staff is brand new, or has years of experience, they will find themselves well-prepared to lead an effective and engaging program this summer after completing this course. Choose between two different options (or both!) that encompass basic ground facilitation skills, belay skills and high element management.
Project Adventure is known for blending intentional program design with leading technical and safety skills. This workshop will provide your staff the skills, understanding and tools they need to lead an Adventure program that is safe and speaks to your camp’s mission and goals.
The Institute will consists of two 2-day sessions taking place.

June 11-12, 2018: Beverly, MA
This two-day session is designed for New Adventure Program Directors, Facilitators, Village Director/Unit Leaders, Camp Leadership, anyone leading teambuilding activities, or teaching others (Camp counselors) to use teambuilding activities with campers. The content will focus on ground activities, foundational concepts and facilitation skills and Standard Operating Procedures for Low Element Challenge Course facilitation.
June 13-14, 2018: Beverly, MA
This two-day session is designed for New Adventure Program Directors, Facilitators and Belay Assistants. The content will focus on challenge course belay skills, Australian belay, basic knot tying, element set-up, take down, Standard Operating Procedures for high challenge course elements and climbing wall management.
